Terms of Service

We built Ads Live to help you run better ads. These terms protect both of us and keep things clear.

01

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ads Live in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including those accessing Ads Live through our web application.

02

What Ads Live Does

Ads Live is an AI-powered platform that helps you create and manage Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising campaigns through natural conversation. You tell the AI assistant what you want to promote, who you want to reach, and what your budget is. The assistant collects all the information required by Meta's Marketing API — campaign objective, budget type and amount, target location, audience demographics, ad headline, primary text, call-to-action, and landing page URL — and then publishes your ad directly to your connected Meta ad account when you confirm.

Ads Live connects to Meta's API using the access token you grant during the OAuth login flow. We call Meta's API only when you explicitly initiate an action. We never run campaigns, spend your budget, or make any changes to your account without your direct approval.

Ads Live is a tool that acts on your behalf. Every API call to Meta is triggered by an action you take inside the product. There is no background automation, no scheduled posting, and no unsolicited spending.

03

How the Ad Creation Process Works

When you start a new ad, you are guided through a step-by-step conversation with our AI assistant. The assistant asks you for your campaign goal, your budget, the location and audience you want to reach, your ad headline, the main message, an optional image, the button text, and your landing page URL. You can answer in plain language — the assistant handles the technical configuration automatically.

Once all required fields are complete, the assistant confirms everything with you and presents a summary. When you click Publish, Ads Live makes the following sequence of calls to Meta's Marketing API using your access token: it creates the campaign, then the ad set with targeting and budget, then the ad creative with your copy and image, and finally the ad unit. All ads are created in a Paused status by default so you can review them in Meta Ads Manager before activating.

You can also update any field in an existing draft by simply telling the AI what you want to change. The assistant applies the change and the ad can be republished with the updated settings.

04

Your Responsibilities

By using Ads Live, you agree to use the platform only for lawful advertising purposes. You agree to comply with Meta's Advertising Policies and Terms of Service at all times. You agree that you have the legal right to use all images, text, logos, and other creative materials included in your ads. You agree not to create ads for prohibited product categories without proper Meta authorization — this includes housing, employment, credit, and political advertising, which are subject to special Meta requirements.

You agree to keep your account credentials secure and not share access with unauthorized parties. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, abuse, or circumvent any part of the platform. You accept full responsibility for all campaigns published through your account, including their content, targeting, and budget.

Ads Live cannot be held responsible for ads that violate Meta's policies or applicable laws. You are the advertiser of record and bear full legal responsibility for the content of every campaign you publish.

05

Meta API and Access Token Usage

When you connect your Meta account, you authorize Ads Live to access Meta's API on your behalf using the OAuth token Meta provides. We use this token exclusively to perform actions you initiate within Ads Live. The permissions we request are ads_management, ads_read, pages_read_engagement, pages_show_list, and business_management. These are the minimum permissions required to create and manage your ad campaigns.

We never run unsolicited API calls on your account. We never use your token for background automation. We never share, sell, or transfer your access token to any third party. Your token is stored encrypted in our database and is decrypted only when needed to serve your request.

You can revoke Ads Live's access at any time from your Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites. Once revoked, all API activity from Ads Live on your account stops immediately. You can also disconnect your account from within Ads Live's settings, which will delete your stored token.

06

Ad Spend and Billing

Ads Live is a campaign management tool. All advertising spend is charged directly by Meta to your Meta ad account — Ads Live does not charge, control, process, or handle your advertising budget in any way. The budget amounts you set during conversation are passed directly to Meta's API as configuration values.

Any subscription fee for using Ads Live is entirely separate from your Meta ad spend. Ads Live is not responsible for unexpected charges from Meta resulting from campaign configurations you approve and publish. Always review your campaign settings and budget before publishing. Once an ad is active, Meta begins charging your ad account according to its configured budget.

07

Intellectual Property

Ads Live and its AI assistant, interface, underlying systems, and software are owned by us. You retain full ownership of all ad content, copy, images, and creative materials you provide. By using the platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service — for example, sending your ad copy and creative to Meta's API to create a campaign on your behalf.

08

Limitation of Liability

Ads Live is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for Meta API outages, errors, or policy changes that affect your campaigns. We are not responsible for ad performance, results, or return on investment. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

09

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings page. We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days of account deletion, including your Meta access token, conversation history, ad drafts, and account metadata.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity. Where possible, we will notify you before taking such action.

10

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as Ads Live evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Ads Live after that period means you accept the updated terms.
