Ads Live is an AI-powered Meta advertising platform. It lets you create, configure, and publish Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns simply by having a conversation with our AI assistant. You describe what you want to promote, and Ads Live guides you through every step — campaign goal, budget, audience, creative, and publishing — all through natural chat. No technical knowledge is required.
When we say "Ads Live," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean the Ads Live service and the team operating it. "You" means the person using the platform.

To use Ads Live, you connect your Facebook account through Meta's official OAuth login flow. You click "Connect Meta Account," you are redirected to Facebook's secure login page, and you grant Ads Live the specific permissions it needs to create and manage your ads. You are never redirected through any third-party service — the connection goes directly between your browser and Meta.
The permissions we request are: ads_management (to create and manage your campaigns), ads_read (to read campaign data and insights), pages_read_engagement (to access your Facebook Page for ad creative), pages_show_list (to list your pages so you can pick the right one), and business_management (to access your Business Manager if applicable). We only request permissions that are directly necessary to provide the service.
Once you grant access, Meta provides Ads Live with an access token. This token is stored securely in our encrypted database and is used exclusively to make API calls on your behalf — only when you initiate an action inside Ads Live.

We collect only what is necessary to run the service.
Account information: Your name and email address, collected when you sign up via our authentication provider (Clerk).
Meta access token: The OAuth token granted when you connect your Facebook account. This is stored encrypted and used only to make API calls you initiate.
Ad campaign data: Campaign names, budgets, audience targeting settings, headlines, primary text, call-to-action types, and landing page URLs that you provide during the ad creation process.
Conversation history: Your chat messages with the AI assistant. These messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate the assistant's responses. We store the conversation history in our database so the assistant remembers your progress and can pick up where you left off.
Ad account metadata: Your Meta ad account ID, currency setting, and minimum budget thresholds. This is fetched from Meta's API when you connect and is used to validate your budget inputs during ad creation.
Facebook Pages: We fetch the list of Facebook Pages associated with your ad account so you can select which page your ads are published from. We do not store your page content, posts, or any page activity beyond the page ID and name needed to create ads.
Usage data: General product analytics such as page views and feature interactions, with no personally identifiable information attached.

We never access your personal Facebook profile, timeline, friends list, messages, photos, or any data beyond what is strictly required to create and manage your ads. We never access ad accounts you have not explicitly connected. We never read the private data of people who see your ads. We never store your Facebook password — all authentication happens through Meta's official OAuth system and we receive only a token, never your credentials.

Your Meta access token is used exclusively to perform actions you initiate inside Ads Live. When you create an ad campaign through conversation, our system calls Meta's Marketing API on your behalf to create the campaign, ad set, ad creative, and ad object in sequence. When you view your dashboard, we call Meta's API to fetch your campaigns, ad sets, and performance insights. These are the only reasons we ever use your token.
We never run background jobs, automated campaigns, or unsolicited API calls on your account. We never use your token to access accounts other than those you connected. We never share, sell, rent, or transfer your access token to any third party for any reason.
You can revoke Ads Live's access to your Meta account at any time from your Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites. Revoking access immediately stops all API activity from Ads Live on your account. You can also request token deletion from within Ads Live's settings page, and we will permanently delete your stored token within 24 hours of your request.
Ads Live calls Meta's API only when you take an action. There are no background processes, no automated spending, and no API usage outside of your direct interactions with the product.

When you have completed the ad creation conversation and click Publish, Ads Live makes the following sequence of API calls to Meta's Marketing API using your access token: first it creates the campaign with your chosen objective and settings, then it creates the ad set with your budget, targeting, and schedule, then it creates the ad creative with your headline, primary text, image if provided, and call-to-action, and finally it creates the ad unit linking everything together. All campaigns are created in a Paused status by default so you can review before going live.
Ads Live never modifies, pauses, activates, or deletes existing campaigns without your explicit instruction. The only exception is campaigns that Ads Live itself created, which you can manage from within the platform.

All data is stored on encrypted servers. Your Meta access token is encrypted at rest and is decrypted only at the moment it is needed for an API call. All communication between your browser, our servers, and Meta's API uses TLS encryption in transit.
Access to production data is restricted to essential personnel only. We follow OWASP security best practices and conduct regular internal security reviews.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all your stored data — including your Meta access token, conversation history, ad drafts, and account metadata — within 30 days.

Ads Live uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate.
Meta (Facebook) Graph API and Marketing API: Used to connect your ad account, fetch your pages and campaign data, and publish your ads. All API calls are made using your own access token on your behalf.
OpenAI: Powers the AI conversation assistant. Your chat messages are sent to OpenAI to generate the assistant's responses. OpenAI processes these messages according to their own privacy policy. We do not send personally identifiable information to OpenAI beyond the content of your ad creation conversation.
Clerk: Handles user authentication — sign-up, login, and session management. Clerk stores your name and email address.
Database hosting provider: Stores your encrypted access token, conversation history, and ad draft data on secure servers.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any party for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.

You have the right to request a copy of all data we hold about you. You have the right to request corrections to inaccurate data. You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. You have the right to receive your data in a machine-readable format. You have the right to revoke Ads Live's access to your Meta account at any time by visiting your Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites.

Ads Live has not shared the personal data or personal information of any users with public authorities in response to national security requests. If we ever receive such a request, we will review it for legal validity, challenge it if we consider it unlawful, disclose only the minimum information necessary, and document the request and our response. We will notify affected users to the extent permitted by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Ads Live evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice inside the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Ads Live after that period means you accept the updated policy.
